Over the last couple of months, the second wave of COVID-19 has struck India with twice the force, leaving millions across the country in a state of panic, fear, and uncertainty. The number of COVID-19 cases have surged drastically all over the country in recent weeks. Caught amidst this turmoil, are many of our colleagues who have lost family members to the virus. We've also had a few unfortunate cases where we've lost some of our employees to the pandemic.
As helpless and devastating as these times may seem, we at Exela want our employees to know that we've got their back. We know as long as we come forward as a team, we can make a difference and fight this pandemic together. We have set up a fundraiser for our employees and their families affected by COVID-19 in India. The funds will be used to support our employees' families and the education of their children.

At this point, millions of Indians continue their struggle with the devastating effects of the lockdown and the second wave of the pandemic. Nevertheless, out of all this chaos, what amazes us the most is the resilience and courage Indians have displayed. How Indians have uplifted one another over the last few weeks via social media and by volunteering in every possible way to ease the situation speaks volumes about the spirit, brotherhood, and grit they possess as team India.
